Rather than us (the publishers) telling you all about our top
selling internet publication ourselves (don't forget the FAQ page
by the way), we asked the author, Miranda Oakridge, to explain the phenomenon during a
recent telephone conversation we had.Miranda has never been a great one for pushing
herself forward. Even after it became clear that her book sales meant she was in high
demand she has steered clear of the limelight. However, by way of a brief introduction to
her, she agreed to us using a few quotations taken from some of the comments that she made
to us. Here are a few of the things she told us:
"....Witchcraft is a way of life to me, I have been involved
with it since I was very young. It's not evil, or wicked, or anything like that, that's
just Sunday newspaper nonsense. Witchcraft is a pagan religion which pre-dates
Christianity. Actually I think it makes me more Christian than most Christians that I
know....
....I wrote my book purely because people kept suggesting that I
should. They saw the power of it, how I helped people, how I could make things happen for
me and for my friends, and they just kept asking and asking until I eventually wrote the
book....
... Some wanted me to write it because they wanted to know what
it was all about, they were interested, but I think that basically most just wanted what I
have!... And now, of course, loads of them do have exactly that, and more besides.... I
know for a fact that a lot of them are now very rich....
....At first I was unsure, having never written before, but,
actually I enjoyed writing more than I thought that I would. Once I got started, once the
first chapter was out of the way, the time just flew by. The thing was, as I wrote I began
to realise how much I knew and just how used I have become to getting my own way. That has
all been due to witchcraft, frankly, I wish I could say I have special talents, but I
don't. You really can do anything that you want when you know how...
...Oh yes, lots of people are sceptical to begin with, I would be
myself. Basically I struggle to believe anything that I haven't witnessed for myself.
But,as you know, the ones who have read the book and tried the craft for themselves soon
become convinced. They soon change their tune when they've seen the results for
themselves...
....Of course I would recommend my book! ....Well, I don't have
to now, do I? I get all these amazing letters saying how thrilled and amazed people are.
That's been the best thing really, the response has been marvellous....
